Commenting on discussions allows you to ask questions, give feedback, and collaborate with students and teachers that have started a discussion.
1. Click on the **Discussions** tab of your **Course** page.
2. Select the discussion you want to comment on.
3. At the bottom of the page, you will see your commenting options. Write and format your comment in the text field, add any attachments, and select the people you want to notify. Then click **Add this comment**.
4. Your comment should now be visible in the discussion's comment section.
